Not much going on

We are still at my parents. My Grandma Ann and Aunt Jackie came for lunch today. It was good. The boys played outside with Greg and Dad. Greg put a new glider together for Dad (instructions and a ton of pieces!!). Greg had to go back home today after the game and the boys woke up from their nap. We will stay until Tuesday. We are going to cut up deer tomorrow night. It has been very nice and relaxing. The boys have been behaving pretty good. Logan slept on Mom today. They both were soaked when he got up. We had to totally change his clothes they were so wet.

November 28, 2008

I didn't get a chance to write yesterday. So, I'm doing it this morning. Yesterday was a pretty lazy day. We went in and visited Great Grandma Martin in the nursing home. It was good to see her. She enjoyed seeing how big the boys had gotten. The boys helped Dad and Greg carry in wood. I got some video I will add after we get back to Indy of Tucker carrying wood in. VERY CUTE! We didn't do any shopping! Didn't need anything, and didn't want to get into that mess. The boys attacked Dad again. Very funny watching them. Will add pictures and video another day.

Happy Thanksgiving 2008

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! We spent the day at my parents' house. Greg went and picked his sister up and brought her up for lunch and took her home. We got our family pictures taken. We needed to do Logan's 4 year pictures. He looks so big in them. (Will post pictures after I get home, too slow of an internet connecting here at my parents house!!). The boys and I helped my dad pick up leaves and spread them on the garden. We also celebrated Logan's birthday. He got to open his presents from my parents. They played with the trains a lot. Overall, a very nice day!!

Bad day, turned good!

Today started out yucky! I had a headache, didn't feel good. But we were headed to the museum anyway (because it was Tuesday, and our day to go). We were loaded in the van, ready to go. The van would not start!! I was SOOO mad and aggravated. I called Greg and he said he would come home. I called my friend we were supposed to meet at the museum, and they came over here and had a play date. The kids were good and we had a good time. Greg came home, and the van started for him (figures, I knew it would, just my luck). But he called the shop and took it in. They said it was fine, and nothing was wrong. The good thing was, they didn't charge us. My friend Julie called me and asked if I could take her to Sam's club (she doesn't have a membership). So, I checked with Greg and he said not a problem. After I put Miles to bed, I met her at Sam's. We went here and then to the mall. We shut the mall down. We went to McDonalds and was there till 10:30ish. It was nice to sit and drink a Coke and have a carmel sundae (that I did not have to share!!) and have adult conversation. So it ended up being a very nice day. Tomorrow should be crazy, chiropractor appointment, then headed to Mom and Dad's for Thanksgiving. Looking for a few days surrounded by family, and having Greg around.

Church Thanksgiving

Today was the Thanksgiving Dinner at church. I helped peel 30 pounds of potatoes this morning. Joann was wonderful and held Miles during Sunday School, and through 1/2 of church. We kept the boys in church with us this morning. They did pretty good. Logan did better than Tucker (but granted, he is older). After church, we came home had lunch and took naps. We got to church a little early. I got to help put deserts on plates. The food was good. Terry had a good devotional. He let/had people stand up and say what they were thankful for. It was good. After we were done, I helped put food in containers. The boys were WOUND UP!! I brought some turkey home to make a turkey pot pie (think that is what we are doing for supper tomorrow). I also got a gallon of milk. We got home and got the boys ready for bed. I don't think we heard a word out of them (granted it was almost 9 before they go to bed). Greg called his sister to see if he could work out something for Thanksgiving day. I read a book. When he was done, he watched the game (actually, he is still watching the Colts play as I write this). All in all, it has been a pretty good weekend. Ready to start another CRAZY week!!!

Miles and his Jumper

Miles was very happy this evening. He was smiling at Logan and all the birthday fun.

Today was the 1st time we put Miles in his jumper.

As you can tell from the video...he loves it.

Greg was making Miles laugh after his bath. I just LOVE hearing him laugh and smile.

The Birthday boy!

Logan and his froggy cupcakes.Logan and his birthday crown.

Logan's favorite time. PRESENTS!!!!

Logan is 4 years old!!

I can't believe it. Logan is 4 years old today!!! It is hard to believe. He is getting so big and grown up. Last night we decorated his cupcakes. We made frogs. We made green frosting, and put little green dots on some marshmallows and put them on for eyes. They turned out really good.

The boys had a blast helping to make them. We
were supposed to go to my parent's house for the weekend, but Mom is still sick. So we are going to have a family day. We went to the Children's Museum. The boys were very good.

Miles got his 1st ride on the carousel (we got pictures). A very nice and relaxing day! Logan opened his presents and then we went out to supper. Logan chose McDonalds for supper. It wasn't bad. Came home and had froggy cupcakes. We put Miles in the jumper tonight too. He really enjoyed it.

Last one for today!!

Ok, this posting stuff is kind of cool!! We went to the museum today. We met some of our new friends there today, Mackenzie and her nanny, April. We had a good time. The kids got along so well. I just wish we were all over whatever we have. Tucker had this sickness over the weekend, but we thought he was better, now, he seems like he isn't feeling good again. Miles seems like he has something. Greg and I have been fighting a sore throat. Logan has been froggy, but seems to be feeling pretty good. My friend Carrie called today and updated me on her son who is in the hospital. I feel so bad for them. I don't know how I would be handling having one of my kids in the hospital. It was scary for me when Logan had his thumb surgery, I can't imagine what they are going through with having CHristian's appendix burst, and getting sent home, and having to go back with bowl absturction and having to go back into surgery. He will be in the hosptial a minimum of 2 weeks (will be gone through his sister's birthday, and Thanksgiving). Just got them on my mind today. I'm also thinking about my mom. She has whatever Tucker had over the weekend and is just feeling yucky!!!

Hard to believe

It is so hard for me to believe that I am the mom of 3 little boys. I can't believe that Logan will be 4 on Saturday. The time has just flown by. Sometimes I wonder how life would have been different if I had made different decisions in my life. However, I'm happy with my life and how it has turned out. I could not imagine my life with out Greg and the boys. I don't want to go back and make any changes to my life, because it would change where I'm at now. I don't know...just some of the stuff that has been going through my head lately. Some days I wish I had more friends to hang out with and talk to. It seems like we were hanging out with some moms and we have just drifted apart. I know life has a way of getting crazy sometimes, but sometimes I just miss the company of other moms!

I can't believe I'm doing this!!

I actually decided to enter the blog world! I really liked having a journal on our website, but it was so hard to maintain. I think I can handle this. My Crazy Beautiful Life. Life is CRAZY with 3 little boys and a husband, but it is so BEAUTIFUL to have them in my life. Couldn't imagine it with out them. I don't even remember life before kids!!! Don't want to go back. Sometime I wonder what we did with all of our time before kids, but that's ok! I'm planning on using this to keep up with the boys, what we are doing, and just random thoughts that come into my head. I hope you enjoy!
