Christmas

It has been a crazy week. My parents got here on Sunday Night. We went to the State Museum on Monday (it was free). The boys got to ride the train. We had a nice time. On Tuesday, we went shopping some. I was supposed to have a chiropractor appointment. But it was icy, and the police closed off the interstate so we couldn't get there. But we had a good afternoon. Got our baking done. The boys decorated their ornaments we made a couple days before. On Christmas Eve, Greg's parents, sister, and nephew Ryan came. We had a nice lunch and opened presents. We had a really good visit with them. I hadn't seen Ryan since he was like 6 months old (he is 14 months now!!). We went to Christmas Eve service at church. I played my flute. I really surprised my mom. Afterwards we went to Terry and Cheryl's house for soup and junk food. We got home after 10.

On Christmas morning, my dad made us breakfast burritos (VERY GOOD!). Got pictures before we had breakfast. After we got breakfast cleaned up, we opened presents. The boys had a wonderful time playing with their toys. My uncle Phil and aunt Royce came for lunch. After lunch and they left. My parents took Logan and Tucker and went to their house. Greg, Miles, and I stayed here at the house and cleaned stuff up. It took us a couple hours to clean up and put toys away and open everything. But it looks lots better!!! We went out to supper. The only things that were open were Chinese. So we picked it up and brought it home. We got the kitchen cleaned up and ready to go to my parents.

Today we went to the library and got the stuff I had on hold. Went to Walmart to see what kind of after Christmas sales they had. Didn't get too much, we did get some lights for our tree next year. Picked up my pictures from Sam's. Went to Lifeway to look at Bibles for Greg and Logan. Didn't find any we really liked right now. But we did find a couple books we wanted. Went out to lunch. We are all packed and headed out as soon as I'm done. My Dad's brothers will be getting together a little bit tongiht. We are having the Clinton Clan Christmas tomorrow. Mark and Angie won't be there because they are still in China picking up the little girl they adopted. Their kids will be there. It should be a fun evening!!

Have a Happy New Year!!

6 Months

I can't believe it. Miles is 6 months old today. He is rolling over like crazy. I found him under the Christmas tree playing with the ornaments yesterday and today! Yesterday Tucker drank out of a big boy cup with out spilling anything! Big improvement. Miles got his 1st tooth today!! I'm excited but I'm not at the same time.

We went to Christmas at the Zoo tonight. We did not take a stroller. Logan and Tucker walked the whole time, and I had Miles bundled up in the ergo, and had my coat zipped up around him too. It was very pretty. Logan and Tucker both said their favorite part of the lights at the zoo was the Trains. It was a nice time.

It's been a while

I know, I know, it's been a while since I have updated my blog. Not much has been going on around here. Just same old, same old. Been doing the museum on Tuesdays, Chiropractor on Wednesdays, and storytime on Thursdays. I have been working on making junk food for Christmas. I do have all my Christmas bought and wrapped! (YEA). We are getting there.

Busy Busy Busy

It has been crazy busy the last few days. Yesterday we stayed after church to help wrap and fill shoebox presents. Today I have been cleaning (mostly cleaning off my counter in the dining room that seems to ALWAYS get full!). Taking care of laundry (had 2 weeks worth!). Keeping the boys happy and fed! I did take a short nap this afternoon. But it seems like I was busy all day! Got stuff ready for my Avon Meeting/Party tomorrow night. The boys helped! They were wonderful today! It was a really good day!

Good day!

We have had an excellent day!! We went to Nancy's 4th birthday party. The boys were good and had a blast. Could have done without the snow...but that's ok. The boys took a nap. We had supper, and then went grocery shopping. The boys were excellent at the store, even though it was so cold outside. All in all, a wonderful day!!!

Trying to get into the Christmas Spirit

We are working on getting into the Christmas Spirit. Greg took today off and we went to the Children's Museum. The boys got their picture taken with Santa (Miles' 1st time). Logan did good...Tucker wasn't having it! We also got to see the play in Lilly Theater (Cronicles of Narnia). One of our worker friends was in it. The boys sat through it very good. We went out to supper, and then put our Christmas Tree up. The boys were so excited. They had troubles realizing that some of the ornaments were breakable. But they did pretty good. After the boys went to bed I put our Nativity up. It looks nice. We are decorated for Christmas (however our tree looks a little funny missing some lights). Now I need to get wrapping presents!!!

Best Laid Plans..

We had a good day today. We went to the museum and the boys were wonderful!!! Had a good day. Needed to go to the library and take some Avon books to Greg's work, so we did that after supper. Got home and put the kids to bed. Decided we would put the tree up so all we have to do tomorrow is decorate it with the boys (Greg is taking the day off and we are going to the museum to visit Santa and then the tree). We put the tree up and plugged the lights in, and 1/2 of them were out!!! They are already wrapped around the tree...so it was frustrating. We tried to make a strand work..but it didn't happen. So I need to get a new set of lights. Then I went to make sandwiches before I came upstairs, and we only had enough bread for 2 sandwiches! So, the boys will have cheese and crackers for lunch! O well....most of the day was good!!

Long and Crazy Day!

It has been a LONG and CRAZY day!! We got up early (well, not early, but early for us....aka me). We had to get up, dressed, and have breakfast so we could leave mom and dad's house by 8:15ish this morning. Mom had a doctors appointment. She has been feeling blucky for the past 2 weeks. The boys were pretty good at the appointment. We went to Walmart to get her prescription filled. When we got back to the house, Logan put the train set together, and Mom opened the new train she got. The boys had a good time playing with that until lunch. After lunch they played a little more while I got the van loaded and ready to go. Logan did NOT want to leave. Horrible mommy I am, I made him come home with us. Tucker was asleep by Montgomery, and Logan was asleep by Loogootee. However, they were both awake by Martinsville. Miles was a dream like usual. He was asleep before we left the house. We stopped by Flower Factory on our way home. I had some stuff I wanted to get, and it had been forever since I had been there. We didn't get home until almost 4:30. I managed to get the van unloaded and some stuff put away before Greg got home. He got home, I loaded Miles up and we went to Support Group. He weighs 17 lb 7.7 oz!! He is doing good and getting big. After group, came home got the kids to bed, and ate supper. Then I worked on going through e-mail, putting stuff away, and trying to catch up on being gone. I did get most of my Avon stuff done. I'm exhausted, and ready to go to bed!

Christmas Lights

We made cookies today. When Dad got home from work, we cut up deer, and got pizza for supper. After supper we got the kids ready for bed and went and looked at Christmas Lights. The boys had a good time looking at the lights. It was nice. We drove around Washington some. It has changed a lot since the last time I drove through. Greg called and said my chiropractor appointment needed to change...so we may be here another day. I will have to call in the morning.
