Miles' 1 year appointment

We had Miles' 1 year appointment on Tuesday.

He still wasn't feeling very good. They did a strep swab, and it turned out fine. The only other thing the doctor thought it could be was a urinary tract infection. So they needed to do a urine test. With him being so little they had to stick a catheter in so they could do the test. Miles did NOT like that one bit. He cried the whole time. It was hard on me, but we made it through. Greg offered to hold him, but as clingy as Miles has been lately, I thought I better do it. I had Greg take Logan and Tucker out so they didn't have to watch. Good news, everything was fine. She said to watch him and if his fever wasn't down, to call on Friday. His fever went down and he seems to be doing much better. However, he is still REALLY clingy!

Other than those tests, she thought he looked WONDERFUL!!

We weighed 21 lb 14 oz (35%). He was 30 inches tall (55%). His head was 18 1/4 inches (48%).

We were glad of the good news.

Can't believe he is a year old already!

We are still here!

We are still here. It has been crazy!

On Mother's Day we had Miles' baby dedication! It went great. Our friend Thomas also got dedicated!

After Mother's day, we left for Florida, spent a few days at mom and dad's getting ready, and then was in Florida a week.

Our house is still for sale. We have another showing tonight. So we will see!

Will try to post pictures whenever I can get a chance to go through them!

Double Cart

We had to go grocery shopping yesterday. I had all 3 kids with me. I put Miles on my back and I was going to put Logan and Tucker in the cart. There were no double carts by the van, so I put tucker in the seat part of a regular cart and Logan in the basket part. We got inside and there were no double carts. I though ok...people with 2 or more kids are here today and using them. As I walked in, a lady with 1 kid walked out with a double cart!! And then all throughout the store we saw 2 or 3 more times, people with only 1 kid and a double cart! I was SOO mad. I wanted to walk up to them and say, those carts are for people with 2 or more kids. That is their intended use, not for you people with only 1 child riding in a cart!!! But I didn't. People with only 1 kid don't realize how much those double carts help people out who have more kids. If you only have 1 kid, remember leave the double carts for people with 2 or more kids. Especially if they don't have very many double carts!

I LOVE Sam's Club now....all their carts are doubles!!!
